A community of Malaysians
living in Kaohsiung

The Kaohsiung Malaysian Association brings together Malaysians living in southern Taiwan. Some of us came here to work, some to raise a family, and some are now retired. Some of us still hold Malaysian passports; others have become Taiwanese citizens.

Since 2016, we have been getting together for festivals and meals. Ten years later, in 2026, we made our friendship official by founding the Kaohsiung Malaysian Association.

11 月，幾個在高雄的馬來西亞朋友約出來吃飯；12 月又相約去看電影。

字卡和馬來語課

9 月聚餐，大家舉著「大馬同鄉會聚餐」的字卡合照；10 月還有一堂馬來語課。

從 2 月到 12 月，留下照片的聚餐就有五次。

2 月、5 月、7 月都有聚餐，5 月那次辦在台南。

7 月 13 日向高雄市政府社會局申請籌備，7 月 29 日獲准。

兩次籌備會

8 月 30 日開發起人會議和第一次籌備會，9 月 6 日開第二次籌備會。兩次都在審查章程草案，也定了會員名冊和入會申請書的格式。

在高雄市新住民會館召開成立大會，正式成立。

來自馬來西亞各地

來自 9 個州和直轄區，柔佛人最多，檳城和吉隆坡次之。在高雄，大家都是同鄉。

宗旨與任務

我們想做的四件事

章程第 2、3 條寫的宗旨和任務，換成白話是這樣：

把同鄉聚在一起

讓在高雄、在台灣的馬來西亞人彼此認識，剛來的人有地方問，待久的人有地方回。

生活上互相照應

協助東南亞朋友在台灣生活，遇到困難時，有人可以幫一把。

把家鄉文化帶來高雄

辦節慶、藝文展演和休閒活動，讓台灣朋友認識馬來西亞。

和東南亞朋友交流

和其他東南亞社群往來，一起推動多元文化的理解。

本會是同鄉聯誼組織，不涉任何政治立場。
